Developmental evaluations are for children ages 12 months-36 months suspected of having an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), developmental delays, or exhibiting early childhood behavioral difficulties . Developmental Consultation Clinic provides evaluations to children under the age of 3 within two weeks of referral. The primary goal of this program is to clarify diagnostic questions and facilitate the implementation of early intervention services for infants and toddlers as soon as possible. Parents have the option to get these services via in-person testing or through Telehealth.

Following our evaluation, we recommend that children start or continue early intervention services (e.g., speech, occupational, physical, developmental therapy). We also talk with parents about transitioning to the preschool system when their child turns 3.
